Playacar is a planned, upscale, secure neighbourhood just next to Playa del Carmen. Playacar has a 18 hole golf course, a dozen large all inclusive hotels, and private condos which are available for rent.

Located in the heart of the Mayan Riviera, Playa del Carmen is a central exploration point for the entire coast. Located about 30 minutes south of Cancun, Playa del Carmen is a place where the traveler can mingle with the local population while still enjoying the glamour of some of the world’s most fabulous beaches.

The town’s port is one main access point to the beautiful island of Cozumel,  just a short ferry or seaplane ride away. The port area is also a debarkation point for many cruise ships whose passengers flock here to enjoy bargaining at the open-air market or to explore nearby Akumel, Xel-ha and Tulum.
